I’m a Realtor in the Columbus, Georgia and Fort Benning area, and this is where I put the things I usually end up explaining to my PCS clients anyway.

Most of the people I work with are moving here on a timeline that doesn’t leave a lot of room for trial and error. You’re trying to figure out areas, price points, commute, resale… sometimes all from a different state. It’s a lot, and there’s usually pressure to just pick something and move on.

Before real estate, I was in recruiting, so I naturally think in terms of fit. Not just “is this a good house,” but does this actually make sense for your situation, your timeline, and how long you realistically plan to be here.

I also own a home styling and staging business, which means I’m looking at homes through a different lens than most agents. I’m paying attention to what buyers are going to notice, what holds up over time, and which homes are actually set up to resell well later, not just look good at first glance.

As a military spouse with a husband who has proudly served in the Ranger Regiment for the past decade, I’m well-acquainted with the nuances of relocation and the importance of finding a home that fits just right.

At home, it’s two little kids, two dogs, and a full schedule, so I care a lot about helping people land in homes that actually function day to day. The goal isn’t perfection, it’s finding something that works for your real life now and still makes sense when it’s time to move again.
